Eaton’s CLPT and NCLPT general purpose fuses are capable of interrupting all currents from the rated interrupting current down to the current that causes melting of the fusible element in no less than one hour. They are applied wherever it is necessary to limit the short-circuit currents on high capacity systems, typically in conjunction with potential and control power transformers. Available in voltage ratings of 2.4, 5.08, 7.2, & 15.5, 25.8, & 38.0 KV.
Eaton’s CLS current limiting backup fuses are used in conjunction with high voltage motor starters to provide short-circuit protection for individual motors. The R-rated fuses are designed to withstand frequent severe heating and cooling cycles associated with motor starting duties without fatigue failures and are always used in a series with another interrupting device capable of interrupting currents below the fuse’s minimum interrupting current. Available in voltage ratings of 2.4, 5.08, & 7.2KV.
Eaton’s CLT fuses are designed specifically to provide fault protection on high capacity indoor and underground distribution systems. They can be used in externally fused disconnect load break switches as well as dry well draw-out fuse holders, which are used in pad-mounted and submersible single phase and three-phase transformers and oil-filled switching units. A non-indicating fuse, they meet or exceed C37 standards for this class of distribution fuse. Available in voltage ratings of 2.4, 5.08, 7.2, & 15.5KV.
Eaton’s CX general purpose current limiting fuses are designed to provide complete fault protection on high capacity indoor & underground distribution systems. The C-rated fuses are ideal for indoor purposes such as pad-mounted and submersible three-phase & single-phase transformers, pad-mounted & submersible switch & fuse units, station service protection, as well as primary switch & fuse units on mine rectifiers. These come in Indicating & Non-Indicating versions & cross to Cooper Power NX, RTE, & Combined Technology Fuses. 2.4, 5.5, 7.2, & 15.5KV.
Eaton DSL fuses are limiters used in Eaton DS & SII circuit breakers. These indoor Current Limiting Fuses are rated 600V & are available in 150 to 3000 amperes.
Eaton’s Helix fuses (CLE, HLE and HCL) are general purpose fuses suitable for indoor and outdoor use in applications where it is necessary to limit short-circuit currents on high capacity systems. They offer a wide range of interrupting ratings in single barrel designs, extending to higher currents in double and quad barrel designs. They are typically used to protect feeders and components such as transformers. Available in voltage ratings of 2.4, 5.08, 7.2, and 15.5KV.
